Kerris competed in the Greater Manchester Club Grade 6 competition in February and qualified to represent the Greater Manchester Team at the Regional Finals, held at the Birchwood Centre, Warrington where the team took Gold and the Greater Manchester Club Grade 6 & 5 teams took overall Gold making them Regional Champions for 2008.

Josh Smith. British National Under 14 Vault Champion 2007. Under 16 Gymnast of the Year 2007. Josh competed in the Men s British Gymnastics Championships where he came away with the British Under 14 National Vault Title. This helped Josh on his way to being awarded the NWGA under 16 Gymnast of the Year which he was presented with at an awards night at Lancashire Cricket Club. Well done Josh.

The Junior Boys were invited to compete in the 2007 Tom Willson Memorial competition where they gave a great performance coming away with several medals including, Conor Reidy taking the overall winners trophy. Well done to all the lads who competed.

All the above girls represented CMIG in the 2007 Pre-novice, Novice, Levels out of age and open age levels which were held at the Birchwood Leisure Centre, Warrington. The Junior Boys Elite Team proved hugely successful taking the Under 12s title for the second year running.
